DHTML and Ajax

So I've been playing a little with DHTML and Ajax for a spike/prototype of a web application. I must say that so far I've really enjoyed building an interactive web app like this. It sure beats all the mechanical tedium of traditional MVC/Model-2 J2EE web apps.

I wonder if I can make this blog more interactive and dynamic...
